All good things come to an end, as Rhiya and her old trainer Tiagra discovered when Tig's life got in the way of her eorlan training. Tig held a contest of sorts for people to see who would take on her beloved eorlan and iernatai. Ams, having known both Tet and Raeli through various circumstances, could not bear to see them go to anyone but her, so she asked for them both, and got them. Raeli adjusted quickly to her new home, and is well-loved by all of Ams crits [except, perhaps, for nora, but does nora really love anyone?]
Rhiya is a rather shy young woman, very plainly pretty. She almost always has a sparkle in her eye. However, she is much more than just a pretty face; she is brilliant, especially when it comes to reasoning and riddles, making her a fast friend of Nayru. She is a helpful person, always willing to give someone a hand out of a sticky situation. She's also rather straight-forward to those she knows, not one to hide her opinions, though she is not rude and offers constructive criticism instead. She can be a bit of a sore loser, but she tries to hide it, and does so rather well.
Rhiya's parents died in a vicious fire when she was very young, so she never really got to know them. Though this obviously hurt for a while, she has learned to deal with the fact that she will never personally know her parents. She has heard of them from others, and is content with the stories she's heard of their beauty, both appearance-wise and personality-wise.
Part of Rhiya's parents lives on through her, and that is her show-eorlan blood. She is beautiful, and she has always had a fascination with the effects of various items on different eorlan. She keeps a little scrapbook that she started with Tiagra that contains information about what effects different elements and items have had on other crits. She absolutely loves to council others on how to do well in shows and what not, and she is proud to keep the legacy of her parents alive.
